About MediCareGrace

One person, one Medicare question at a time, until the coverage in front of you makes sense.

The person behind the plans

I Stay With One Medicare Question Until It Is Settled

Medicare tends to arrive as a stack of envelopes and a deadline nobody chose. Most of what lands in that stack was written for someone who already knows the system from the inside. I read it for you instead, then say what it means in words you would use at your own kitchen table.

I work on my own. The person who answers your first message is the same person who reads plan documents beside you later, so nothing gets handed off and nothing gets hurried to suit a schedule that is not yours.

What I do is easy to describe. You tell me what coverage you hold now, which medicines you take, and which doctors you would rather keep. I hold every plan up against that until one of them clearly fits, and I say so when none of them does.

Bring Me the Part You Keep Rereading

You do not have to arrive with the whole picture sorted. Sign up, name the one page or cost that keeps catching you, and I will start there.

How I hold the work

Six Habits I Keep on Every Medicare Review

None of this is complicated. It is simply what has to happen before anyone can sign a form and feel settled about it.

Your Doctors Come First

Before a plan is worth talking about, I check whether the people already treating you sit inside its network and will still be there next season.

Your Medicine List Matters

Every drug plan sorts medicines in its own way. I run your list through each option so the price you are quoted is the price you actually meet at the counter.

Your Dates Stay in View

Enrollment windows open and close on a calendar of their own. I keep yours written down and visible so nothing slips by while you are still thinking.

Your Questions Stay Open

There is no limit on asking the same thing twice. I would far rather repeat an answer than leave you nodding along to something that never landed.

Nothing Gets Oversold

If the coverage you already hold is the better fit, I say so plainly and leave it where it is. Changing a plan for its own sake helps nobody.

Your Details Stay Private

What you hand over is used to sort out your coverage and for nothing else. Your information is not a product I trade with anyone.

Your Medicare Insurance, Step by Step

Sign Up for Original Medicare

Enrollment in Medicare itself runs through Social Security. I explain what to have on hand and when to file so nothing is late.

Add the Coverage You Need

Next you choose what goes beside it: a drug plan plus a supplement policy, or one Medicare Advantage plan that combines it all.

Review It Once a Year

Plans change their costs, networks and drug lists every year. I go over yours with you during open enrollment so it still fits.

Who reaches out

Most People Find Me at One of These Moments

You do not need a special reason. Still, these are the situations that show up most often in my inbox, and each of them has a clear path through it.

  • Becoming eligible for the first time. The letters start early, the deadlines are real, and the order to do things in is rarely obvious. I lay that order out.

  • Still working with coverage through a job. Sometimes staying put is right and sometimes it is costly. Which one it is depends on details worth checking.

  • A plan that quietly changed. A notice arrives, a medicine moves to a different tier, a clinic leaves the network. That is worth a fresh look rather than a shrug.

  • Moving to a new address. Plans are built county by county. A move can change what is offered to you and open a window to switch.

  • Helping a parent sort theirs out. Adult children handle a great deal of this. You are welcome to sit in on every step with them.
